Job Summary
Plan and facilitate collaborative math tutoring sessions for elementary, middle, and/or high school students under the supervision of the Director of Educational Development. Meet regularly with the Director, plan and facilitate group and/or 1:1 tutoring, help students develop study skills and complete homework/projects, communicate with the Director, model appropriate academic and social behaviors, and perform other duties as assigned. Requires extensive math teaching/tutoring experience and ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds, with strong interpersonal and organizational skills, discretion, and flexibility; able to apply math knowledge to help students access material and analyze data to guide future instruction; capable of independent critical thinking and problem solving.
