Job Summary
Plan and facilitate group and 1:1 math tutoring sessions for elementary, middle, and high school students under the supervision of the Director of Educational Development; meets regularly with the Director; assists students in developing study skills, completing homework and projects, and exploring topics of interest; maintains consistent communication with the Director; models appropriate academic and social behaviors; performs other duties as assigned. Requires extensive math tutoring/teaching experience and ability to work with diverse student populations; strong interpersonal and organizational skills, responsibility, discretion, and flexibility; ability to collect and analyze data to inform instruction; ability to work independently with critical thinking and problem-solving.
