Math Tutor (Part Time)

Math Tutor (Part Time) drives student learning by planning and facilitating group and 1:1 math tutoring sessions for elementary through high school students under the Director of Educational Development. Responsibilities include meeting regularly with the Director, planning and facilitating tutoring sessions, helping students build study skills, assisting with homework and projects, maintaining consistent communication with the Director, modeling appropriate academic and social behaviors, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, responsibility, discretion, flexibility, and the ability to collect and analyze data to inform instruction. Educational experience in math tutoring/teaching is required. The role emphasizes independent problem solving, critical thinking, and applying math knowledge to support student access to material.
