Job Summary
Lead tutoring sessions for K-3 students, conducting skill assessments and entering scores into data software while tracking progress with the school's on-site coach. Facilitate 20–30 minute math practice groups of up to three students daily, rotating between classrooms to serve all assigned students. Commit to personal growth through coaching and training, and share your experience with the community. This full-time AmeriCorps role runs August 2026 through June 2027, 35 hours per week during daytime school hours.
Required Qualifications
- Dependable and have a history of good attendance
- Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback
- Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online)
- Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing
- 18 years of age or older with a highschool diploma or equivalent
- A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States
- Ability to succesfully complete a background check
