Job Summary
Lead tutoring sessions for K-3 students in groups of up to three, conducting 20–30 minutes of math practice daily. Track student progress, perform skill assessments, and enter scores into data software while meeting regularly with the school's on-site coach. Commit to your own growth through coaching and training, and encourage students as they build confidence. Dependable, fluent in English, and 18+ with a high school diploma. Full-time positions run August 2026–May 2027, 35 hours weekly; part-time options available at 25 hours. AmeriCorps stipend provided.
Required Qualifications
- Dependable and have a history of good attendance
- Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback
- Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online)
- Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing
- 18 years of age or older with a highschool diploma or equivalent
- A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States
- Ability to succesfully complete a background check
