Job Summary
Lead tutoring sessions for K-3 students in groups of up to three, conducting 20–30 minutes of math practice daily and tracking progress by entering scores into data software. Follow a strict schedule to ensure every student receives support, conduct skill assessments, and regularly meet with the school's onsite coach. Commit to personal growth through coaching and training while sharing your experience with the community. This full-time AmeriCorps position requires a high school diploma, English fluency, and a clean background check, with a two-week pay schedule and education awards available.
Required Qualifications
- Dependable and have a history of good attendance
- Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback
- Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online)
- Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing
- 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
- A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States
- Able to successfully complete a background check
