Job Summary
Lead tutoring sessions for K-3 students in groups of up to three, providing 20–30 minutes of math practice daily. Track student progress, conduct skill assessments, and enter scores into data software while following a schedule to ensure consistent support. Meet regularly with the school's onsite coach to review data and share your experience with the community. Commit to personal growth through coaching and training as you encourage and celebrate student confidence. Full-time AmeriCorps position with bi-weekly stipend and education awards.
Required Qualifications
- Dependable and have a history of good attendance
- Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback
- Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online)
- Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing
- 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
- A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States
- Able to successfully complete a background check
