Job Summary
Lead tutoring sessions for groups of up to three K-3 students, providing 20–30 minutes of math practice daily while tracking progress and entering scores into data software. Conduct skill assessments, follow a strict schedule to ensure all students receive support, and meet regularly with the on-site coach. Commit to personal growth through coaching and training while sharing your experience with the community. You will serve as a caring adult focused on helping children thrive, utilizing proven activities and receiving ongoing support. This role is part of Math Corps, one of the largest high-impact tutoring programs in the country, administered by Ampact to help over 91,000 students succeed.
Required Qualifications
- Dependable and have a history of good attendance
- Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback
- Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online)
- Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing
- 18 years of age or older with a highschool diploma or equivalent
- A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States
- Ability to succesfully complete a background check
