Job Summary
Provide exceptional math instruction using Mathnasium teaching materials, assessing student progress and evaluating homework. Deliver individual student instruction in small group settings while assisting with occasional non-teaching tasks. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional math competency through high school Algebra 1 or higher and pass a math competency exam prior to hiring. This part-time role requires on-site availability Monday through Thursday from 2:45pm to 7:45pm, Fridays from 3:45pm to 7:00pm, and Saturdays from 8:45am to 12:30pm, with a requirement for at least four of five weekdays and two Saturdays monthly. Applicants must possess excellent verbal communication skills, be comfortable with digital technology, and have a cell phone. Required Qualifications
- Exceptional math competency through at least high school Algebra 1
- Must pass a math competency exam prior to being hired
- Able/willing to work on site
- Instructors must have a cell phone or similar device
- Availability of at least 4 of 5 days from Mon-Fri
- Availability of at least two Saturdays per month in the school year
