Job Summary
Lead tutoring sessions for groups of up to three students, providing 20–30 minutes of math practice daily while tracking progress and entering scores into data software. Conduct skill assessments, meet regularly with the on-site coach, and share your experience with the community. You will follow a schedule to ensure students receive support and commit to your own growth through coaching and training. This part-time role runs Monday through Friday during daytime hours for the 2026-27 school year. Math Corps, administered by Ampact, has already helped more than 91,000 students through its high-impact tutoring program.
Required Qualifications
- Dependable and have a history of good attendance
- Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback
- Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online)
- Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing
- 18 years of age or older with a highschool diploma or equivalent
- A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States
- Ability to succesfully complete a background check
