Job Summary
Deliver primary instruction to students with special needs while preparing lesson plans aligned with New York State Standards. Evaluate academic progress, maintain Individual Education Plans and Behavioral Support Plans, and create a safe learning environment. Monitor teacher aide performance, manage classroom resources, and participate in special education and department meetings. Initiate communication regarding student concerns and cultivate relationships with staff and students. Work a first shift, 36-hour week, lifting up to 25 pounds. Bachelor's degree with New York State mathematics certification required; Master's preferred.
Required Qualifications

- New York State Teacher certification in mathematics
- Experience teaching Math grades 7-12
- Must be available to work a first shift, 36-hour work week
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
