Job Summary
Teach high school or middle school students using Summit's project-based learning model, delivering 90-minute blocks (or four 55-minute blocks in middle school) and guiding students through deep-learning experiences. Build mentor relationships with a group of mentees daily, provide data-informed feedback, develop lesson plans from student progress data, and participate in regular after-school collaboration and professional development. Must uphold Summit values, demonstrate DEIB commitment, and hold a California (or other US state) teaching credential; a Bachelor's Degree is required. Compensation starts around $63,718 and goes up to $99,987, with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Teaching Credential in California or another US state.
- Bachelor's Degree (a Master’s Degree in Education is preferred, but not required).
- Clear health and background check.
- Teaching experience in your subject is preferred, but not required.
