Job Summary
Secondary Math Teacher responsible for providing a trauma-informed learning environment, delivering instruction aligned with state benchmarks using research-based techniques, maintaining accurate student records, and collaborating with school staff and the community. Requires valid Michigan teaching certificate with endorsements, and ability to utilize technology; ESL endorsement is preferred or obtainable. Duties include serving high school-level math education, meeting the needs of students, and adhering to district policies and calendar. Salary according to LPEA Master Agreement.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with proper endorsements
- ESL Endorsement preferred or willing to obtain
- Must meet MCL 380.1531 & Administrative Rules Governing the Certification of MI Teachers
- Computer and data entry experience
- Knowledge and skills to implement local high school curriculum
