Math Teacher - Riverdale High School

Plan a program of study meeting individual student needs and assist in establishing department curriculum objectives. Create a conducive classroom environment, guide the learning process toward curriculum goals, and employ appropriate instructional methods. Assess student accomplishments regularly, diagnose learning strengths and weaknesses, and counsel with colleagues, students, and parents. Assist administration in implementing policies governing student life, develop classroom behavior rules, and supervise support personnel and volunteers. Use technology in teaching, maintain accurate records and reports, and perform Medicaid administrative claims. Recognize indicators of student distress or abuse and take appropriate action based on school procedures.
