Job Summary
Plan, organize and present instruction and instructional environments that help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their educational and social development. Manage instructional time, behavior, and classroom presentation; monitor student performance and provide feedback; coordinate instructional planning and maintain records. Demonstrates ability to instruct Mathematics with clear objectives, relevant examples, and engaging demonstrations; effectively communicates with students, parents, and staff; and supports inclusive learning practices in a collaborative school setting.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in education or in a related area that will qualify for licensure as a teacher by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.
