Job Summary
Math Teacher responsible for planning, organizing, and presenting instruction and instructional environments to help students develop mathematical knowledge and skills; manage instructional time and student behavior; present lessons fluently and clearly with relevant demonstrations; monitor student performance and provide timely feedback; facilitate instruction using an instructional plan aligned with curricular goals; interact effectively with students, co-workers, parents, and the community; perform non-instructional duties as assigned and adhere to policies and regulations. This role requires appropriate licensure qualification to teach in North Carolina and involves delivering instruction, evaluating student progress, and maintaining a productive classroom environment.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in education or in a related area that will qualify for licensure as a teacher by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.
