Job Summary
The Math Teacher is responsible for helping students learn subject matter and skills essential for their development. Key responsibilities include planning individualized programs of study, creating a conducive classroom environment, guiding the learning process towards achieving curriculum goals, utilizing appropriate instructional methods and materials, and assessing student accomplishments regularly. The teacher will also counsel with colleagues, students, and parents, implement policies governing student life, maintain classroom order, and supervise teacher assistants when assigned. The position requires the ability to maintain confidentiality, follow detailed instructions, and adapt instruction for students with special needs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid teaching certificate in North Carolina or be able to obtain one.
