Job Summary
Guide students through live synchronous math lessons via Zoom and the school's LMS, delivering instruction on algebra, geometry, and calculus using interactive tools like Desmos and Kahoot. Adapt pacing for diverse learners while monitoring engagement through analytics to provide timely feedback and differentiated support. Build strong relationships with students and families by conducting orientation sessions, communicating progress, and addressing math anxiety through encouraging, student-centered approaches. Maintain accurate records of attendance and grades, collaborate with the teaching team on professional development, and contribute to Personal Learning Plans. This part-time role offers approximately 20 hours per week with potential to grow into a full-time position, supported by ongoing professional development in online teaching and digital tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- majors in Education, Mathematics, or related fields
- Experience teaching math at the middle or high school level
- Strong command of English
