Math Teacher, High School Candidate Pool

Establish clear goals and implement coherent mathematical activities aligned with HCPSS curricula and the Understanding by Design framework. Use questioning and mathematical representations to assess student understanding, foster conceptual learning, and modify instruction based on evidence of student thinking. Develop daily lesson plans, create inclusive environments for all learners, and provide specialized support for students with disabilities and English Learners. Collaborate with colleagues to plan instruction, solve challenges, and support co-teaching efforts while maintaining accurate records and adhering to safety protocols.
