Job Summary
Teach mathematics to 7th and 8th-grade students using a proficiency-based learning model aligned to Common Core Standards. Track formative and summative assessment data to address learning needs; facilitate student advisory and relationships with students and families; apply developmentally appropriate behavior management to foster a productive classroom. Collaborate with grade-level math colleagues to build instructional coherence and community, embed technology to support learning, and communicate progress with parents. Ideal candidate holds a Vermont Professional Educator License with Middle Level Mathematics endorsement and demonstrates strong classroom management, organizational skills, and a commitment to growth-minded, inclusive education.
