Job Summary
Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area; develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum; employ instructional strategies and technologies to accommodate diverse learners; assess student learning and growth; collaborate with special education teachers to modify curricula and implement IEP accommodations; plan and supervise instructional aides and volunteers; sponsor extracurricular activities and maintain professional relationships with parents and community; comply with district/state policies and regulations for classroom teachers; requires Bachelor's degree and a valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements; responsibilities include classroom management, data-driven instruction, planning, and implementing district guidelines as outlined by TEA.
