Job Summary
Provide high-quality, standards-aligned instruction to support student growth in mathematics. Develop lesson plans aligned with state standards and district curriculum; use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress and adjust instruction. Deliver engaging instruction that promotes critical thinking and student participation; utilize diverse instructional strategies and instructional technology tools. Establish a safe, respectful classroom environment; collaborate with colleagues in professional learning communities; participate in professional development and school initiatives; communicate effectively with parents/guardians. Bilingual skills are preferred. The role emphasizes collaboration, data-informed planning, and equitable access to high-quality instruction for diverse learners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education or a related field from an accredited institution
- Valid Texas teaching certification required in the appropriate content or grade level area
