Job Summary
Teach engaging math curriculum using company materials to lead small classes of up to 16 students in an afterschool setting. Actively involve students in each session, manage the classroom, and provide feedback on tests while building relationships with students and families. Encourage critical thinking and a love for learning during weekly one-hour forty-five-minute sessions for Honors Math 4, running Sunday evenings from 5:00 to 6:45 PM. This part-time role requires a minimum initial commitment of about three hours per week at our Vienna campus for the 2026–2027 academic year, with candidates located in the greater DMV area. Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree
- In order to be considered for this position you must be legally authorized to work in the US
- Candidates must be located in Vienna or the greater DMV area and must be able to commute to our campus
- Candidates must be available to teach during weekday after-school hours (as early as 4pm) and/or on weekends
- This position requires a minimum initial commitment of about 3 hours per week for each assigned class
- Each course meets once per week for 1 hour 45 minutes
- This is an in-person position
Desired Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related or educational field is strongly preferred
- Strong content knowledge in math
- Experience teaching or tutoring students
- Classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level is preferred
