Job Summary
Plan and deliver lessons in math, reading, writing, science, and social studies while assessing student learning through tests, assignments, and progress evaluations. Maintain a positive, safe classroom environment by managing behavior, establishing clear expectations, and differentiating instruction for individual needs, including those with special requirements. Communicate regularly with parents during conferences and collaborate with staff to support student success. Integrate technology into daily instruction and attend professional development workshops to advance teaching practices. Participate in school-wide initiatives, including staff meetings and committees, while supporting extracurricular activities and providing after-school tutoring as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
- State certification
- Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms with all levels of management
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to navigate web-related applications and technology
- Ability to instruct students using a variety of technology applications and platforms
- Ability to instruct students and manage student behavior
Desired Qualifications
