Plan, organize, and implement instructional programs for Math students; develop course syllabi and lesson plans; deliver instructional activities aligned to state standards; collaborate with department to ensure consistent, sequenced educational experiences; establish objectives; manage classroom behavior; use technology to support instruction; assess and report student progress; assign and grade work; provide feedback; participate in meetings and extracurricular activities; maintain records and prepare required reports; pursue ongoing professional development and stay current with subject-area developments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Meet professional teacher education requirements of Michigan City Area Schools and State of Indiana
- Possess or be eligible for Indiana certification
- Relevant teaching or student teaching experience
