Job Summary
Part-time position (approx. 10 to 25 hours per week) for tutors in Math, Physics, or Computer subjects. Responsibilities include helping students understand math from Pre-Algebra to Calculus I and C++ programming, utilizing personalized approaches to support student success. Candidates should have an Associate degree or above in the discipline or a related field, with previous tutoring experience as a plus. Tutors are required to participate in CRLA training and obtain certification within one year.
Required Qualifications
- Thorough understanding of math (math tutors)
- Proficiency in C++ programming (computer tutors)
- Ability to tutor introductory Statistics and Physics is a plus for math tutors
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Interest in working with a diverse population of students
- Patience and a genuine desire to help others learn and succeed
