Job Summary
Deliver math intervention in small groups to high school students using a pre-designed curriculum focused on numeracy, problem-solving, and foundational skills. Emphasis on remediation rather than enrichment; role involves supporting students where they are and building confidence and mastery through structured, student-centered instruction. Training and ongoing support are provided; position is in-person at partner schools (Brooklyn, NY) with a schedule of Monday–Thursday, 11:00–3:30. Applicants should possess a charismatic, student-focused approach and an interest in helping struggling learners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Experience teaching math or working with students in intervention settings (preferred)
- Familiarity with math intervention tools or willingness to train
- 1–2 years of teaching experience
