Math Interventionist - West Middle School

Job Summary
Instruct students to develop proficient math skills in coordination with district and state standards. Design and implement intervention strategies and individualized instructional programs, plan and adapt lessons, assist teachers with diagnosing intervention needs, design assessment tasks, and communicate student progress to parents and staff. Deliver instruction in large, small, and one-on-one settings; create a classroom environment that maximizes instructional opportunities; collaborate with teachers, support personnel, and administrators; participate in meetings and professional growth opportunities; and support programs aimed at improving student achievement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Student teaching/practicum/internship experience that meets or exceeds Colorado's requirements
- Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license
- Appropriate endorsements or equivalent in the content field
- Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire
