Job Summary
Math Interventionist position within NSBSD responsibilities include implementing research-based instructional strategies to support individualized student learning; adapt materials and pacing based on frequent assessment; serve all disabilities and gifted and talented in all grades including preschool; maintain culture conducive to student learning; develop culture-based unit development using Rubicon Atlas; supervise paraprofessionals; adhere to district policies and promote district goals. Requires Alaska Teaching Certificate, Bachelor's in Education, and preferred Master’s degree with experience in education.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education required
- Alaska Teacher Certificate required
- Three years of experience preferred
- Master’s Degree preferred
- Experience in Inupiaq, Language, History & Culture preferred
