Math Interventionist (K-2)

Job Summary
Assess scholars using Running Records, phonemic awareness, and other tools to track progress toward state standards. Work with individual and small groups to help students master academic benchmarks and exit tickets. Communicate progress with parents and teachers while modeling best practices in the classroom. Submit weekly lesson plans and data-driven intervention goals based on LEAP and NWEA standards. Meet weekly with the principal and MT to analyze assessment data. Execute school-wide incentives programs and assist with annual literacy nights. Schedule parent meetings during conferences and attend required staff meetings and professional development sessions.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or higher
- at least 24 credit hours in content area
- Strong technical skills, particularly in integrating technology in the classroom to drive academic achievement
- Experience working in an urban school setting
Desired Qualifications
- Louisiana Teacher Certification
