Job Summary
Elementary Math Interventionist responsible for screening, analyzing data, providing diagnostic, prescriptive, and evaluative services, and delivering individualized and small group instruction to 4th–6th grade students in a virtual Indiana program. The role involves modeling effective intervention strategies for classroom teachers, providing resources for teachers and parents, reviewing curriculum to create alternate lesson presentations, supporting asynchronous web conferencing and synchronous instruction, maintaining regular communication with parents, students, and teachers, collaborating to ensure progress, keeping student records up-to-date, and assisting with administration of state tests and other required state exams. Requires appropriate Indiana Elementary Generalist (1-6) certification, strong technology and communication skills, a customer-focused and flexible mindset, ability to work remotely, and willingness to travel for state testing events as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Appropriately certified in Elementary Generalist (1-6) in Indiana
- Strong multi-cultural skills
- Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft OS, MS Office programs, and Google Suite)
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Customer-focused approach
- A high degree of flexibility
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Team player track record
- Willingness to travel on occasion for state testing events (may require overnight travel)
- Ability to work remotely
