Job Summary

Provide individual and small group math instruction to K-8 students requiring additional support to meet grade-level expectations. Develop and implement targeted intervention plans using data-driven assessments to monitor progress and adjust teaching strategies. Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate these strategies into the regular curriculum while assisting in the development of instructional materials for diverse learners. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and administrators. Participate in professional development to stay current with best practices in math intervention. Join the Southeast Elementary and Middle team starting August 2026 for the 2026-2027 school year.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid teaching certification/license for the appropriate grade levels
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching mathematics, preferably in a K-8 setting
  • Strong knowledge of math intervention strategies and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents
  • Proficiency in using technology and educational software to enhance math instruction

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in the role preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field preferred
  • Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and varying abilities
  • Training or certification in math intervention programs or strategies
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus
