Job Summary
Teach/tutor in-person and/or online using the Mathnasium Method, collaborate with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting, assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions, become proficient with digital educational materials and processes, and support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment. Requires taking a math literacy test, providing work authorization, and passing a background check. Part-time after school and on weekends with opportunities for advancement and ongoing training; Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees, with the franchisee as the employer.
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional math competency through at least Pre-Calculus
- Ability to work IN PERSON (no remote positions available)
- Passion for math and working with students
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to learn and be trained
- Ability to balance various ongoing tasks
