Math Instructor / Tutor

Job Summary
Teach in-center and online using the Mathnasium MethodTM, terminology, and teaching practices. Collaborate with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting. Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions. Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes. Requires passion for math, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency through Algebra I. Part-time after-school and weekend hours with ongoing training and opportunities for advancement. All centers are franchisee-operated; the employer is the center, not Mathnasium Corporate.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for math and working with students
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to learn and be trained
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
- As part of hiring process, math literacy test
- Ability to work 2-4 days a week for the next 6 months
