Job Summary
In this part-time Math Instructor role at Mathnasium of Royal Oak, you will provide engaging math tutoring across in-center, online, and hybrid formats using the Mathnasium MethodTM. Responsibilities include delivering personalized instruction, communicating with parents to highlight progress and program value, utilizing digital educational materials, assessing student progress, collaborating with teammates, and maintaining a clean, professional learning environment while assisting with non-teaching tasks. Ideal candidates are passionate about math, possess strong interpersonal skills, demonstrate competency through Algebra I, can juggle multiple ongoing tasks, and are eager to learn and be trained.
Required Qualifications
- A passion for math and working with students
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
- Ability to balance various ongoing tasks
- Willingness to learn and be trained
- Provide work authorization
- Pass a background check
- Complete training in the Mathnasium MethodTM
- Take a math literacy test
