Job Summary
Math Instructor/Tutor needed at Mathnasium of Westford, MA to teach/tutor in-center, online, or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium MethodTM for 2nd–12th grade students. Responsibilities include delivering individualized instruction in a group setting, assessing progress, becoming proficient with digital instructional materials, maintaining a safe and professional learning environment, and collaborating with team members. Requires in-center presence, math proficiency (Algebra I at minimum), strong interpersonal skills, willingness to undergo training, and ability to manage multiple tasks. All applicants must complete a math literacy test, have work authorization, and pass a background check.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for math and working with students
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to learn and be trained
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
- Ability to balance various ongoing tasks
- This in-center job requires candidates to come into the center for instructions
