Job Summary
Provide engaging one-to-one and small-group instruction in Algebra 2 and Geometry within a supportive learning center environment. Teach and support students in math concepts while building confidence and enthusiasm for the subject. Create a welcoming, motivating, and productive setting where students can celebrate their progress. Track and communicate student updates to the Center Director and team. Follow Mathnasium's proprietary teaching methods and support daily center operations alongside other instructors. This part-time role offers flexible afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts with a starting pay of $16.00 per hour. No teaching experience is required as paid training is provided.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work through the 2026/27 school year
- Comfortable with math concepts through Algebra 2 and Geometry
- Friendly, patient, and enthusiastic personality
- Ability to connect with both students and parents
- Reliable availability for afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with children is preferred but not required
