Job Summary
Teach and tutor students using the Mathnasium MethodTM, leading collaborative group instruction while assessing learning progress and engagement. Coach team members to deliver individualized lessons, follow up with parents on student outcomes, and maintain a clean, safe learning environment. Become proficient with educational materials and systems while assisting with administrative tasks as needed. Instructors must demonstrate math competency through Algebra I, pass a math literacy test, and provide work authorization. This role offers flexible part-time hours after school and on weekends for a founding team dedicated to building children's confidence in mathematics.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for math and working with students
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
- All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency
- Provide work authorization
- Pass a background check
- Instructors are expected to work at least 3 days per week aligned with instructional hours
