Job Summary
Math Instructor needed at Mathnasium of Hickory Flat to provide engaging, individualized math tutoring across in-center, online, and hybrid formats. Responsibilities include delivering exceptional math instruction, communicating with parents to reinforce program value, utilizing Mathnasium Method terminology and practices, assessing student progress, grading and correcting work, maintaining a professional learning environment, and assisting with non-teaching tasks. Must pass math literacy test, provide work authorization, and pass a background check; training in the Mathnasium Method follows. Part-time, in-person role with flexible hours and opportunities for growth.
Required Qualifications
- A passion for math and working with kids
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Fun/Engaging personality
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra II
- Ability to balance various ongoing tasks
- Willingness to learn and be trained
