Job Summary
AoPS Academy is hiring a Part-Time Math Instructor to teach AMC 10/12 training courses at the Millburn, NJ campus. Deliver or co-deliver engaging, curriculum-based math instruction to small classes (up to 16 students) during weekday evenings and weekends. Responsibilities include using company materials, class engagement, student feedback, and building relationships with students and families. Requires a Bachelor's degree (STEM or education preferred), strong math content knowledge, and prior teaching or tutoring experience; K-12 classroom experience preferred. The role is on-site at the Millburn location with classes meeting once per week for 1 hour 45 minutes, across multiple sessions for the 2026–2027 academic year. Compensation is $36.00/hour, with benefits including sick leave, discounts, and a 401k plan with company match. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US; sponsorship is not offered.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM-related or educational field strongly preferred
- Strong content knowledge in math
- Experience teaching or tutoring students
- K-12 classroom teaching experience preferred
- Formal teaching credential not required
