Job Summary
Designs and implements mathematics instruction for grades 6-12 following state standards and district curriculum; creates a positive learning climate; delivers rigorous lessons to maximize student engagement and achievement; utilizes diverse teaching practices to meet individual needs; monitors student performance and maintains grades and attendance; manages classroom behavior; communicates with parents and school staff regarding student progress; ensures health and safety and maintains confidential records; maintains required certifications and professional development hours; performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Florida Professional Educator Certificate preferred
- Eligibility for Florida Temporary Certificate required
