Job Summary
Develop a math curriculum with stakeholder input, monitor its implementation, and train certified staff on its use. Analyze school and grade-level data to guide training for administrators, coaches, and teachers, while assessing teacher progress toward curricular objectives. Deliver professional development sessions, co-teach within classrooms, and model instructional strategies to improve curriculum quality. Create training modules, organize workshops, and oversee district math intervention programming. Respond to inquiries from teachers, parents, and administrators regarding the Title II Math curriculum program. Represent the district on local, state, and national committees and write grants to support instructional improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in curriculum and instruction
- Current teaching certificate issued by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
- Reading certification
- Minimum of five years of successful classroom teaching experience in math
- Evidence of improving student achievement in math
- Instructional coaching or team leader experience
- Curriculum in math experience
- Teacher certificate
