Job Summary
Lead the nursery's overall day-to-day management, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, safeguarding, and compliance with EYFS, Ofsted, and relevant legislation. Supervise and support staff through performance management, training, and professional development while overseeing the delivery of a high-quality early years curriculum. Monitor standards via observations and audits to drive continuous improvement, manage budgets and staffing ratios, and build strong relationships with parents to communicate children's progress. Ensure all children are safe, protected, and well cared for in line with legal requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Must have experience as a deputy/manager in a childcare setting
- Level 3 Early Years Educator (minimum)
- Strong understanding of EYFS, curriculum planning, and child development
- Experience in mentoring staff and supporting team development
- Good knowledge of Ofsted and safeguarding requirements
- Ability to lead a team
