Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive consultations for high-risk pregnancies, including maternal and fetal complications, and perform advanced obstetric ultrasounds, fetal echocardiography, and prenatal diagnostic procedures. Interpret fetal assessments, NSTs, and BPPs while co-managing patients with obstetricians, midwives, and specialists to optimize outcomes. Manage hypertensive disorders, diabetes, multiple gestation, and placenta accreta spectrum. Supervise residents, fellows, and sonographers; contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives. Provide labor and delivery coverage for complex cases and remote telephone consults for shared service facilities on nights and weekends. Participate in clinical coverage for other NYC Health + Hospitals facilities in the Manhattan region and emergency coverage as needed.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board Certified in General Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Eligible for medical licensure in New York
- Demonstrated commitment to high-quality clinical care, teamwork, and advancing maternal health equity
- Remote telephone consults for MFM on nights/weekends for shared service facilities
- Remote coverage as needed, for other NYC Health + Hospitals facilities outside of the main region
- Clinical coverage, as needed, for other hospitals in the Manhattan region
- Emergency coverage for other NYC Health + Hospitals facilities, as needed
