Job Summary
Provide clinical care in an outpatient setting including antepartum visits, preventive gynecologic care, and office procedures. Participate in in-house labor and delivery call coverage for maternal fetal medicine patients at Alexandra Cohen Hospital. Read ultrasound scans, oversee the antepartum testing unit, and care for antepartum and postpartum inpatients. Teach and supervise medical students, residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers while contributing to continuing medical education and department quality initiatives. This Assistant Professor role supports the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology's outpatient faculty practices and hospital maternity services, which deliver approximately 8,000 newborns annually.
Required Qualifications
- medical degree
- 4-year ACGME-accredited obstetrics and gynecology residency program
- 3-year ACGME-accredited maternal fetal medicine fellowship
- board eligible or board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and maternal fetal medicine
- valid New York State Medical License
- commitment to excellence and teaching
