Job Summary
Performs diagnostic ultrasound scans for Maternal Fetal Medicine, collaborating with radiologists and physicians to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care. Applies advanced MFM imaging techniques, completes and annotates medically acceptable exams, follows PACS transfer, adheres to protocol for medical necessity, coding, and consents, and participates in clinical training and process-improvement projects to enhance patient experience, quality, and access.
Required Qualifications
- ARDMS: must be registered in OB/GYN or Fetal Echo
- ARDMS: supports MFM research studies as directed and meet quality standards outlined by the medical director/manager for AIUM Detailed Fetal Anatomy Examination (76811) accredited practices.
- Demonstrates ability to independently perform complex and challenging exams according to department specific requirements.
- Subject matter expert for advanced technologies, techniques, and practices.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
Desired Qualifications
- ARDMS: OB/GYN or Fetal Echo registration
- ARDMS: AIUM Detailed Fetal Anatomy Examination accreditation practices
- BLS certification for healthcare providers
- Three years OB and MFM experience with at least one year in MFM (preferred)
