Job Summary
Perform diagnostic sonogram scans on patients using specialized equipment, ensuring proper identification and preparing them for exams. Execute high-level Maternal Fetal Medicine imaging with advanced techniques, completing and annotating medically acceptable exams while adhering to system scanning protocols. Transfer all exams to PACS, modify images as needed, and document time stamps and events accurately. Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, and obtaining consents, while maintaining safety practices and sterile techniques. Participate in clinical training and process improvement projects to enhance patient experience and quality.
Required Qualifications
- ARDMS: must be registered in OB/GYN or Fetal Echo
- Demonstrates the ability to independently perform complex and challenging exams according to department specific requirements
- Subject matter expert for advanced technologies, techniques, and practices
- Basic life support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer three years of experience in OB and MFM with at least one year of those years in MFM
