Job Summary
Perform diagnostic sonogram scans on patients using specialized equipment, ensuring proper identification and preparing them for exams. Utilize advanced imaging techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic results while adhering to system standard scanning protocols. Complete and annotate medically acceptable exams, transfer images to PACS, and document all events, including equipment failures. Maintain safety practices through sterile techniques and equipment cleaning, while actively participating in process improvement projects and clinical training. Support research studies as directed and meet quality standards for detailed fetal anatomy examinations.
Required Qualifications
- ARDMS: must be registered in OB/GYN or Fetal Echo
- Demonstrates the ability to independently perform complex and challenging exams according to department specific requirements
- Subject matter expert for advanced technologies, techniques, and practices
- Basic life support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer three years of experience in OB and MFM with at least one year of those years in MFM
