Job Summary
Four full-time Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians sought to provide comprehensive care in both inpatient and ambulatory settings, including actively participating in the educational and clinical training of residents and medical students. Responsibilities include patient care in Maternal Fetal Medicine, teaching, training, mentoring, and precepting residents and medical students, a consultative model that may allow attendance at deliveries, collaboration with APPs, ARDMS-certified sonographers, diabetes educators, perinatal nutritionists, and a genetic counselor, and developing/ delivering academic presentations with shared call. The role involves collaboration with Children’s Hospital of Illinois and University of Illinois subspecialties (Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Cardiology, Cardiovascular Surgery) and requires MD or DO with board-certified/board-eligible status and Illinois licensure eligibility.
