Job Summary
Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician sought to join OSF HealthCare Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL, to support a full-spectrum MFM practice. The role supports a sub-specialty team with six APPs, ARDMS-certified sonographers, diabetes educators, perinatal nutritionists, and a genetic counselor; collaborates with the Fetal Care Center and both pediatric and adult subspecialties; provides comprehensive consultation and management for high-risk pregnancies and maternal transport; laborists manage the majority of deliveries; and includes opportunities for teaching with an academic appointment and potential research through the University of Illinois Peoria. Call is 1:3 and is shared equally. Required Qualifications
- Education: Doctorate
- Licenses/Certifications: Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state
- Board certified or board eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges
- Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs
- Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage
- Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable
